本領域では「健康」を多角的にとらえ，以下のような研究・教育を行っている。
- 占領期における保健政策改革に関する実態の解明―GHQ文書による検証―
GHQ/PHW（公衆衛生福祉部）の資料をもとに，医学教育，看護教育の改革，感染予防対策等について，その実態の解明を行っている。 - 免疫機能に着目した院内および施設内感染予防に関する研究
人間が本来持つ「免疫機能の活用」と「微生物との共生」をキーワードに，看護実践場面での感染予防の可能性を追究している。 - 解剖学教育
看護学を修めるための基盤となる解剖学を通して，その知識修得とともに学生の生命観の基盤形成を目指して教育を実践している。
We are engaged in researches, investigations and education

- Health policy during the occupation in Japan - based on
GHQ documents -
The revolution of health policy during the occupation in Japan (1945-1952) is studied historically. Special emphasis is placed on medical education, nursing education, and control of infectious disease. - Nosocomial infection control research exploiting human
immunity.
With respect human immunity and symbiosis with microorganism, we are trying to demonstrate feasibility of nosocomial infection control in nursing care. - Education of Anatomy
During education of Anatomy, we are trying to let students build basic view of life as well as mastering knowledge.
