　教育では，人間や生活の理解，アセスメント技法，基礎看護技術など看護の基本となるものを教授している。看護学は実践を基 盤とする学問であり，演習や実習が重要な意味を持つ。そのためロールプレイングや模擬患者の活用など，教育技法の開発も試み ている。
　研究では，看護学の基礎や基礎看護学を教育や管理等の広範囲 で捉え，研究に取り組んでいる。

　Nursing is health Care for human being. The understanding of life and the practice of nursing are interrelated. We teach techniques for nursing assessment and basic nursing care based on this linkage. In lab we employ role-playing and Simulated- patient teaching methods. Among our research programs are;
