３．現状の評価

　平成９年度、教室責任者交代により研究目標が変化したため、業績の低下が見られた。

　平成１０年度より基礎的設備の充実を図り、分子生物学的手法の導入、学内外施設との共同研究開始した。

　平成１２年度には研究目標に沿った発表は激増し、インパクトファクターは増加した。

４．将来の改善に向けた方策

　基礎研究の臓器障害に関しては、分子生物学的手法に加え、今後は電気生理学的手法の導入によりさらなる発展を計画している。

　臨床研究においては多施設研究への参加や計画を増やし、症例数の多いEBMの結果を出すことを検討している。
