Research Project:
Investigation of the Relationship Between Dengue Virus and Its Vector using RNA-seq technique:
Using a next generation sequencer, we are analyzing the differential gene expression between dengue viral-infected mosquitoes (Aedes aegypti) and uninfected mosquitoes, in order to investigate the relationship between virus and its host (an insect vector). Now we are focusing on some mosquito-genes and analizing biochemical features and functional implications of the genes.
