2025年12月20日　田邊君が西日本医学生学術フォーラムで口頭発表優秀賞を受賞しました 2025年12月20日、三重県総合文化センターにて第10回 西日本医学生学術フォーラムが開催され、当講座に研究室配属している 田邊映斗君が、口頭発表優秀賞を受賞しました。 田邊君は今年、本講座に研究室配属となり、神山先生の指導のもと、トキソプラズマの病原性因子に関する研究および大分県における人獣感染状況の疫学調査に取り組んできました。本フォーラムでは、これらの研究成果を口頭発表し、その内容と発表態度が高く評価され、今回の受賞につながりました。 また、本フォーラムでは、一緒に参加した川部梨々香さん（今年、花田礼子研究室に配属）もポスター発表を行い、ポスター発表最優秀賞（学生投票部門）を受賞しました。学生同士の投票によって選ばれる本賞の受賞は、研究内容のみならず発表の分かりやすさや熱意が高く評価された結果であり、本学における研究室配属教育のレベルの高さを示すものといえます。 なお、本フォーラムでは、昨年も当講座に配属していた 山本玲君が奨励賞を受賞しており、2年連続での受賞となりました。講座としても大変喜ばしく、同時に学生たちの着実な成長に驚かされています。 日々の研究に真摯に取り組み、発表に向けて努力を重ねてきた田邊君、そして川部さんに、心より祝意を表します。今後のさらなる活躍を期待しています。

December 20, 2025: Mr. Tanabe Receives the Outstanding Oral Presentation Award On December 20, 2025, the 10th West Japan Medical Student Academic Forum was held in Mie prefecture, and Mr. Eito Tanabe, an undergraduate student currently assigned to our department for laboratory training, received the Outstanding Oral Presentation Award. Mr. Tanabe joined our department this year and has been conducting research under the supervision of Dr. Kamiyama, focusing on pathogenic factors of Toxoplasma as well as an epidemiological investigation of zoonotic infections in Oita Prefecture. He presented these research findings in an oral session at the forum, where both the scientific quality of his work and his presentation skills were highly evaluated, leading to this award. In addition, Ms. Ririka Kawabe, who participated in the forum together with Mr. Tanabe and was assigned this year to Dr. Reiko Hanada’s laboratory, gave a poster presentation and received the Best Poster Presentation Award (Student Voting Category). This award, determined by votes from fellow students, reflects not only the excellence of her research but also the clarity and enthusiasm of her presentation, highlighting the high standard of laboratory-based education at our university. Notably, Mr. Rei Yamamoto, who was assigned to our department last year, also received an Encouragement Award at the same forum. This marks two consecutive years of awards for students from our department, which is both a great pleasure and a source of pride for us. We extend our sincere congratulations to Mr. Tanabe and Ms. Kawabe for their dedicated efforts and outstanding achievements, and we look forward to their continued success in the future.
