December 25, 2025: Alumna Fai Visits Our Department for Collaborative Research
On December 25, 2025, Ms. Benjawan Saechue (known as “Fai”), an alumna of our department and currently a faculty member of the Faculty of Veterinary Sciences at Mahasarakham University, visited Oita University to conduct experiments as part of a collaborative research project. Dr. Saechue was enrolled in our department as a MEXT (Japanese Government)–funded doctoral student from October 2017 to September 2021, during which time she conducted her research and successfully obtained her doctoral degree. During this visit, she will stay in Oita for approximately two weeks over the year-end and New Year holidays to carry out experiments related to the ongoing collaboration. The results of this work are expected to be compiled into a research manuscript in the coming year. On the first day of her stay, Dr. Saechue enjoyed a warm reunion over a meal at Sushiro with Nan and Tip, international students from Thailand currently enrolled in our department, creating a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. We are delighted to maintain strong research ties with our alumni and look forward to the progress and outcomes of this collaborative project. |
