The exhibition explained that basic medicine is an academic field that explores the mechanisms of life and the development of diseases, thereby opening new avenues for the medicine of the future. Having the students themselves describe their experiences made it possible to convey more concretely what overseas clinical training involves and how it contributes to their learning. Dr. Takeshi Takakura, President of Gyokujyu-kai, the alumni association of the Faculty of Medicine, Oita University, which has long supported this clinical training program, also viewed the panel and asked the students questions about their experiences.
