◆表彰 中塚医学賞

2025年12月16日 第15回 中塚医学賞に小坂聡太郎先生が選出されました 2025年12月16日、第15回 中塚医学賞（大分大学医学部研究表彰）の表彰式および受賞者セミナーが、医学部臨床中講義室にて開催されました。 中塚医学賞は、大分医科大学初代学長・中塚正行氏の名を冠し、医学部における若手研究者の研究活動の活性化と発展を目的として設けられた、伝統ある研究表彰です。 本年度は、生命科学・医学専門分野および看護学専門分野から計5名の研究者が表彰されました。その中の一人として、消化器内科学講座 助教の小坂聡太郎先生が受賞されました。 小坂先生は、現在は消化器内科学講座に所属されていますが、学位論文研究は当・感染予防医学講座にて行い、博士号を取得されました。また、学位取得後は約2年間、当講座の助教として在籍され、教育・研究の両面で講座の発展に大きく貢献されました。 今回受賞の対象となった研究も、臨床業務と並行しながら、当講座において根気強く継続して取り組まれてきた研究成果であり、その努力と粘り強さが高く評価されたものです。 表彰式では、小林副学部長による研究講評の後、猪股医学部長より賞状および目録が授与され、引き続いて受賞者セミナーとして各受賞者による研究発表が行われました。 当講座にゆかりのある研究者が、このような形で高い評価を受けたことを、教室一同大変うれしく思います。 小坂聡太郎先生のご受賞、誠におめでとうございます。 |
December 16, 2025: Dr. Sotaro Ozaka Receives the 15th Nakatsuka Medical Award On December 16, 2025, the award ceremony and recipient seminar for the 15th Nakatsuka Medical Award, an official research award of the Faculty of Medicine, Oita University, were held at the Clinical Lecture Hall of the Faculty of Medicine. The Nakatsuka Medical Award was established in 2011 in honor of Dr. Masayuki Nakatsuka, the first president of Oita Medical University, with the aim of promoting and advancing the research activities of young investigators within the Faculty of Medicine. This year, a total of five researchers were recognized across the fields of biomedical science, medicine, and nursing science. Among the awardees was Dr. Sotaro Ozaka, Assistant Professor in the Department of Gastroenterology. Although Dr. Ozaka currently belongs to the Department of Gastroenterology, he conducted his doctoral research in our Department of Infectious Disease Control, where he obtained his PhD degree. Following his doctoral training, he also served as an Assistant Professor in our department for two years, contributing significantly to both research and education. Notably, the research recognized by this award was carried out while Dr. Ozaka continued his clinical duties, and it represents the outcome of his persistent and dedicated research efforts conducted in close collaboration with our department. His achievement exemplifies the successful integration of clinical practice and basic research. At the award ceremony, Vice Dean Dr. Kobayashi provided comments on each awarded study, followed by the presentation of certificates and prizes by Dean Dr. Inomata. The ceremony was followed by a recipient seminar, during which each awardee presented their research. We are delighted that a researcher closely associated with our department has received this prestigious award. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Sotaro Ozaka on this outstanding achievement. |
