2025年2月25日、タイの協定校であるマヒドン大学シリラート病院医学部の学生3名が、本学での臨床実習を開始しました。 これまで、協定校の学生が短期留学として本学の研究室に配属された例はありましたが、臨床実習への参加は今回が初めてとなります。 今回の実習では、Nath君とAtsukiさんが救急医学講座で、Mikeyさんが消化器小児外科学講座で研修を行います。 初日には一行が猪股医学部長を表敬訪問し、JASSO（日本学生支援機構）からの奨学金が授与されました。 参加学生の皆さんにとって、この1ヶ月の実習が実り多く、有意義な経験となることを願っています。

On February 25, 2025, three medical students from Mahidol University Siriraj Hospital, our partner institution in Thailand, began their clinical training at Oita University Faculty of Medicine. Although students from Mahidol University have previously joined our laboratories for short-term research exchanges, this is the first time that students are participating in clinical training at our university. During their one-month program, Mr. Nath and Ms. Atsuki are training in the Department of Emergency Medicine, while Mr. Mikey is engaged in clinical practice in the Department of Pediatric Surgery and Gastroenterology. On the first day, the students made a courtesy visit to Dean Inomata of the Faculty of Medicine, where they were also awarded scholarships from JASSO (Japan Student Services Organization). We sincerely hope that this one-month training program will be a meaningful and enriching experience for all participants.
