Our hospital has been designated as a special function hospital and has an advanced emergency room. Due to our role in the medical community, we frequently deal with emergency patients. Therefore, we may ask you to move rooms or wards on short notice in order to accommodate critically ill patients on the wards and emergency admissions. We ask for your understanding and cooperation in this respect.

  • As this is an acute-care hospital, we support patients able to be discharged from the early stage according to their medical condition.

Please be alert for the following
  • Theft has occurred in the past. Please take care when storing your valuables.
  • During your stay at the hospital, you may not be allowed to visit other hospitals under insurance rules. This applies not only to you but also to your family members who enter the hospital on your behalf. If you must visit another hospital, please inform your doctor or nurse of the reason for this.
  • If you have any further questions, please inquire at the staff station.

Safety Management with Patient Participation
  • In order to provide safe and secure medical care, we ask patients themselves to actively participate in medical safety.
  • We would like to prevent accidents related to medical care by having patients deepen their understanding of medical safety and practice it together with medical staff.

Name verification and wristbands

  • Please wear the wristband at all times.
  • The wristband can be removed when you are away from the hospital. When you remove your wristband, please keep it with you until you are issued a new one.
  • We will ask you to tell us your name and date of birth before you receive a procedure, examination or medication.
  • Make sure that the name on the label of the intravenous drip or the name tag of the meal is your first and last name.

Drugs

  • We have pharmacists in all wards in our hospital, and these pharmacists check the medications you bring with you when you are admitted.
  • When you receive your medication, please check your name on the medication bag, how to take the medication, how long to take the medication, and the precautions.
  • If you have any questions about your medication, check with your doctor, pharmacist, or nurse right away and resolve them before you take it.

Allergies

  • Tell your doctor, pharmacist, or nurse about any allergies to medications or foods.

Nurse call button
  • There is a nurse call button at each bed. When you press the button, a nurse will answer the call aloud during the daytime; however, at night, the nurse will not answer the call and instead visit the patient in person immediately.
