How to Spend Your Time in the Hospital and Details on Requests

During Your Hospital Stay: Guidelines and Requests

Weekly schedule

(wards, clinics, etc.) Floor (West, East, New)

  • Please remain in your room during medical rounds.
  • We will regularly check your temperature, weight, and blood pressure, and ask about the frequency of your urination and bowel movements. The schedule for these checks varies by ward.
  • Please be considerate of other patients when using lights after 10:00 PM.
  • Permission is required to leave the hospital grounds or stay out overnight. You must obtain a permit from your doctor and the head nurse in advance.
  • Regarding Bed or Ward Transfers

Our hospital is designated as an Advanced Treatment Hospital and an Advanced Critical Care Center. Due to our role, we accept emergency patients 24 hours a day. To accommodate critically ill patients and emergency admissions, we may ask you to move to a different room or ward on short notice. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

  • As an acute care hospital, we begin planning for your discharge early in your stay, tailored to your medical condition.

Important Precautions
  • Theft has been reported. Please take extra precautions to keep your valuables safe.
  • Please refrain from using makeup or hair thickening powder during your hospital stay. These items can interfere with medical examinations, treatments, and the monitoring of your condition.

If you have any further questions, please inquire at the staff station.

Patient Participation in Medical Safety

To provide safe and secure medical care, we ask for your active participation in safety measures.

By deepening your understanding of medical safety and working together with our medical staff, we aim to prevent medical accidents and ensure your well-being.

Name verification and wristbands

  • When verifying your identity, staff will ask you to state your full name and date of birth.
  • Please wear your ID wristband at all times. You may remove it when leaving the hospital for temporary visits or overnight stays. If you do remove it, please keep the old wristband with you until a new one is issued.
  • Please clearly state your full name and date of birth before examinations, tests, or receiving medication.
  • Please double-check your name on IV drip labels, meal tags, and other items to ensure they are correct.

Confirm location

  • To ensure safety in the event of a disaster, we track patient locations by scanning wristbands. We will scan your wristband barcode at each location: when you leave or return to the ward for tests or surgery, and when you arrive at or leave a testing room.
  • Barcode scanning is not required when leaving the ward for short walks or shopping. However, please inform the medical staff before you leave.

Medications

  • Pharmacists are stationed in all wards to check any medications you bring with you upon admission.
  • When you receive medication, please check the label on the medicine bag to ensure it has your name, the correct dosage instructions, timing, and precautions.
  • If you have any questions or concerns about your medication, please ask a doctor, pharmacist, or nurse immediately. Please resolve any doubts before taking the medicine.
