Introduction of clinical department

We are engaged in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases, such as angina pectoris, myocardial infarction, arrhythmia, valvular heart diseases, cardiomyopathy, and heart failure. The Japanese Circulation Society has authorized this department as a designated specialist training institution, which provides advanced diagnoses and treatments for chronic heart diseases and emergency medical care for acute cardiovascular events. The major diagnostic examinations available are echocardiograms, transesophageal echocardiograms, Holter electrocardiogram, cardiac CT, pharmacologic stress myocardial perfusion scintigraphy, coronary angiography, and an examination for cardiac electrophysiology. If necessary, we can perform percutaneous coronary interventions, catheter ablation, cardiac resynchronization therapy, and implantable cardioverter defibrillator with satisfactory results. Many cardiovascular diseases were recently recognized as a complication of lifestyle-related diseases. From this point of view, we have enthusiastically wrestled with the treatment of risk factors and background diseases of cardiovascular disease. We accept patients on weekends and at nights for emergency treatment.
