Introduction of clinical department

The Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery provides a variety of treatments as a specialist in surgeries to cure abnormalities in the body’s shape. We treat a wide range of diseases in the field of plastic surgery, including not only skin lesions, mainly skin tumors, but also congenital morphological abnormalities, defects, and sequelae caused by various traumas, tumors, and intractable wounds. Among them, we have treated hemangiomas, vascular malformations, established facial nerve palsy, and keloids, which require customized treatment, through our specialized outpatient clinic, with many good results.

Last year, we introduced the Q-switched and V-beam lasers and have started minimally invasive treatment for so-called “spots and birthmarks” in addition to superficial hemangiomas and vascular malformations through the laser outpatient clinic.
